Athletics Carnival – Every year in term 2 the school comes
together for competition, fun and teamwork
Book Fair – Takes place in the library twice a year where
kids can buy and get excited about books.
Book week – Join us for a fantastic book week parade and
lots of storytelling.
Coding – Part of the Digital Curriculum, allows our students
to learn, problem solve and have fun.
True Relations - Supporting the healthy sexual development of children and young people.
Cross Country – A whole school event allows all to take part
and get fit around the school.
Gympie Maths Competition – Time for our students to show
their problem solving skills, love of numbers and competition.
School Discos / Movie Night – A great chance for the kids,
teachers and parents to socialise and become a part of our community.
Swimming lessons – Our whole school swim in the later part of the year.
The Great Gympie Duck Race – Come down and join the fun at the Mary River behind
Albert Park on a Saturday, in November, where over 1000 ducks will race to be the
quickest quacker in Gympie! Larry the
lead duck, named by Gympie Central students, will start the race down the
river. This important event raises money for Gympie Central, so bring on
the Great Gympie Duck Race!
Waste/Recycling Education – Explains to kids the
importance of looking after our rubbish and what happens after it leaves your
bin.
